Elections for 2012-2013 term
Time to start thinking about nominations for the next board:
President The President presides over all meetings of the Board. He/she shall have general charge and supervision of the affairs of the Chapter and shall do and perform such other duties as may be assigned to the President by the Board.
Vice-President At the request of the President or in the event of the absence or disability of the President, the Vice-President shall perform the duties of the President.
Additional note: The Vice President is currently overseeing the Chapter's scholarship activities
Recording Secretary The Recording Secretary is responsible for the minutes of all meetings. The Recording Secretary may sign with the President or Vice- President, in the name and on behalf of the Chapter on any contracts or agreements authorized by the Board.
Treasurer The Treasurer is responsible for the books belonging to the Chapter and shall keep a full and accurate account of all receipts and disbursements; in general he/she performs the duties incidental to the Office of Treasurer subject to the control of the Board.
Corresponding Secretary The Corresponding Secretary is responsible for communications between the Board and the general membership. The Corresponding Secretary shall collect dues, maintain the membership rolls, and record votes of the general membership.
Additional note: The Corresponding Secretary is also currently responsible for maintaining the Chapter website especially as it relates to links with member's websites
